The ever popular Nathan Persad Show returns to the Fox & Firkin, 316 Lewisham High Street, SE13, on Tuesday 27th of April. The 286 are a new project co-piloted by Nathan and the excellent Spencer Hannabuss. Along with guitar and drums, the line-up includes a string quartet, making for a very warm and interesting sound, much lacking from the usual agit pop currently drowning the stages of London. Get along and enjoy what will be a fun and musically rewarding night. Entry Free, 7.30pm till late.

Yes, brothers and sisters, after much necessary change behind the scenes at MHM, the shakles are off and we can finally fulfill our dreams and original remit to have no limits. To not release a particular style. To release scratchy lo-fi demos, to release shiny over-produced epics, to release poetry, books, art and everything else of interest that strays past us that we can put in front of a wider audience.

Albums from a number of new artists are due over the summer, plus singles from Nathan Persad (pictured above in evangelical posture) and John Ashdown (also pictured above to his left with guitar). The Won Ton Blues Band will release their debut EP, first of a strange two part concept. And Christy is getting back to recording another album after spending the last few months producing for other artists.

South East London power rock quartet Honeycube will be releasing their debut album through MileHighMusic in October. The band previously featured their track Song For Nell on the well received 2006 MHM compilation Replugged in New Cross.
