At MileHighMusic we do listen to every demo that we are sent. Being an independant, we do not have the budget of a multi-national corporation and so tend to work alongside our artists to open doors, through our distributors etc to get their music out. We ourselves are musicians/songwriters, so fully understand how hard it is to get the opportunity to get your music into the shops and in front of the public, but if we like what you do enough then we will definitely see what we can do to help you.
Please make sure your contact information is clearly visible on all materials that you send, as there's nothing more annoying than not knowing who is actually on the great CD that is playing! Demos are acceptable as audio CD, data CD, Vinyl, Cassette - yes, my tape player still works! Also, feel free to use a file-sharing service such as www.yousendit.com - which is free - to send your mp3's, wma or other music data files via the internet. DO NOT email mp3s etc directly to any of our email addresses, as they will not be heard, our email server will automatically delete them.
